Easter 2012

We had a fabulous time Easter weekend. Saturday was spent at an Easter Egg Drop at a local church here in Baton Rouge. They dropped plastic eggs filled with candy from a helicopter. There were 15,000 eggs but Kirsten only got two:-( It was much pandemonium after the eggs were dropped and they allowed the kids to go in and get the eggs. Maybe she'll have better luck next year after she's a little older. However, the event was very nice. They had food, face painting, games and inflatables for the kids to jump in. The Easter bunny was even there.

Sunday morning was spent at our church and then we went to brunch at Copeland's afterwards with Evelyn and her son, Aaron. The food was delicious! We got home and Kirsten was able to open her Easter basket. Her basket contained a dancing duck with bunny ears, an Easter book, a chocolate bunny, bubbles and sidewalk chalk. We spent some of the day outside after our nap playing with the bubbles and drawing on our driveway with the chalk. All in all, it was a good day.

Happy Easter everyone!
